These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of NinjaClips at ninjaclips.io. By creating an account, buying credits or a subscription, submitting a file, listing an item, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use NinjaClips.
What NinjaClips is
NinjaClips has three parts, and different terms apply to each.
- The index. A ranked reference of anime characters, together with links to edits and images that their creators published on other platforms. We store names, rankings, tags, links and descriptive data. We do not host that media.
- The scene tools. Video processing that runs on files you supply. You provide the source, choose options, and receive outputs derived from your own file.
- The marketplace. A place for sellers to list editing materials they produced themselves, and for buyers to purchase them.
NinjaClips does not supply source media, does not grant you rights in anyone else's work, and does not promise that your use of any file or output is legally permitted.
Eligibility and account
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services. You must provide accurate account and billing information, keep your credentials secure, and remain responsible for activity on your account. Accounts are for individual use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Your files
The scene tools operate only on material you submit. You must hold the rights to it. By submitting a file you confirm that you own it, or that you have the licence, permission or other lawful basis needed to copy it, process it, and use the outputs for your intended purpose.
We do not review submissions for legal clearance, and we do not give legal advice about fair dealing, fair use, quotation, parody, platform policy or any similar doctrine. If you are not sure you hold the rights to a file, do not submit it.
You keep whatever rights you already have in what you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, process, transcode and analyse that material, and to generate outputs from it, solely to provide, secure and maintain the service for you.
What you publish
Publishing an edit, a listing or a profile on NinjaClips is different from submitting a file to the tools: it is meant to be seen. You keep every right you already have in it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transcode and publicly display it on NinjaClips and when we promote NinjaClips, for as long as you keep it published. Take it down and that licence ends, apart from copies already made for backups and for records we are required to keep.
You confirm that you made it, or that you hold the rights needed to publish it here, and that publishing it breaks no one else's rights. You are responsible for what you publish. We remove material on a valid notice — see copyright and takedowns — and we close accounts that repeatedly infringe.
The index and links to other platforms
The index records where work has been published and links to it. Media shown alongside those links is served by the platform it was published on, and following a link takes you to that platform, under its terms and its privacy policy. Rankings and statistics are our own measurements and are provided for information, without warranty of accuracy.
If you are a rights holder and want an entry removed, see our copyright and takedown policy.
Marketplace
Sellers may list only materials they created themselves and are entitled to sell. Listing an item confirms that you hold those rights. Sellers set their own prices and are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for delivering what they describe, and for their own tax obligations.
Buyers receive the licence the seller offers with the listing. We provide the platform and handle payment; the contract for a purchased item is between buyer and seller. Where we take a platform fee, it is shown before you complete a sale. We may remove listings and suspend selling privileges where a listing appears to infringe rights or breach these terms.
Acceptable use
You may not use NinjaClips to:
- submit, process, list or share unlawful, abusive or exploitative material;
- submit material involving child sexual abuse, terrorism, or non-consensual sexual content;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity or contractual rights;
- submit material you do not hold the rights to;
- bypass metering, billing, rate limits, security controls or account restrictions;
- scrape, mirror or bulk-export the service, the index or its outputs;
- interfere with the service, other users, our infrastructure or our providers.
We may throttle, block, remove content or suspend accounts where we reasonably believe the service is being misused or is exposing NinjaClips, its users, its providers or rights holders to legal, security or operational risk.
Our intellectual property
NinjaClips owns the service, its software, interface, systems, rankings, branding and documentation. These terms do not transfer ownership of any of it to you.
Credits, billing and refunds
Prices, credit bundles, plan allowances and any promotional terms are shown at checkout or on the pricing page at the time you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing [email protected].
Credits are consumed when work is submitted for processing. Where a job fails through a fault on our side, we restore the credits. Statutory rights to cancel and to a refund are unaffected by anything in this section; to exercise them, or to raise any other billing issue, email [email protected]. Abuse of refunds, chargebacks or promotions may make an account ineligible for future refunds or access.
Availability
We aim to keep NinjaClips available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. Where a change materially reduces something you have paid for, contact us and we will put it right.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, NinjaClips is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or for claims arising from material you submitted, listed or published. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, from material you submit or list, or from your infringement of anyone else's rights.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that repeatedly infringes copyright, or where required by law. On closure your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature survive, including the rights warranty, the indemnity and the liability limits, continue to apply.
Data and privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above always shows the current version, and material changes will be notified in the product or by email. Continuing to use NinjaClips after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home country.
